Today was the Halloween Bicycle Basket Bazaar in Northampton's old fish market. Deb and I had a bike between us and we gave out lots of flyers for next Saturday's Vintage Fair In Northampton. We met up with some of the stall holders who are having stalls at next Saturday's Vintage Fair.
Our Bike was next to Lindsey of Elsie Sparrow.
Just round the corner was Aileen with her Halloweeny themed bike with gourds and pumpkins and her handmade natural wreaths.
Wow, that looks fabulous - I've just been to a vintage fair at Lincoln Uni and though I enjoyed it it was ll fashion and I wanted to see some homeware stuff so I'll have to get that fix next weekend! Still lots to do!
Oh wow, i used to go to the bicycle bazaar, its great but now i'm a bit further away :( Looking forward to meeting you at the vintage fair this w/e, will you be sending details of it out to us, i.e set up time etc. Hope its not too much of a manic week getting it all sorted! Laura x
What a fantastically good idea and such great looking precious things for sale! I've never heard of a bicycle bazaar before. I may have to pop over for the next one.

I live in the middle of England with my husband and teenage daughter and our naughty dog Josh a bearded, border collie cross and two chickens.I live in a corner house which is a 1920s semi near the centre of town. I love old houses and my last house was typically Victorian but I have grown to love the style of the 1920s and 1930s. My
passion for hunting out vintage treasures at flea markets and in charity shops means that I constantly add to my collection. I love vintage eiderdowns, textiles, tins, kitchenalia, ephemera and home wares from the 1930s through to the 1950s.
I work full time in a very demanding job so my hobby keeps me sane and allows me to relax and switch off from day to day pressures.
My husband runs the Northampton vintage fairs which gives me another excuse to indulge my passion for vintage.
I enjoy reading a number of blogs which I have listed. They have been a source of inspiration and pleasure to me and gave me the the confidence to start this blog.
