Today was The Affordable Vintage Fashion Fair at the University. I had never been to one before but it is great if you like vintage clothes. I bought a lovely little Barbola mirror, some pretty 1940s paper lanterns, a lucite flower brooch and one of the lovely old 1930s annuals that I have a weakness for. I really like the colour pictures they have on the covers as well as some of the colour plates inside.

Oh how I wish we had something like that near us! Lovely lovely things, I love the little dog mirror and those lanterns! Suzie. x
Great finds! I bid on a Barbola mirror at auction yesterday but somebody outbid me!Love the idea of a bicycle basket bazaar!
I really want to get to the bicycle bazaar in Northampton, is it always the last Saturday of the month? It must have been the perfect day to do yesterday!
Not too long till the fair now is it? I definitely want to go, as for a stall, I would love to, but really don't have enough to stock a stall at the mo.This year I will have to be a buyer. Let me know if you would like a few posters displaying in the Wellingborough/Rushden area?
