Yesterday was the third Olney Vintage Fair and we had a great day. The sun shone and we had the most visitors to a fair we have ever had. I guess people were happy to get out of the house after so many wet weekends and people of all ages seemed to enjoy browsing all the lovely stalls.
Mr C bought this bright orange wool holder. I already have them in blue, pink and green and I am really not sure I am too keen on this one.
We also found this pink and green wool hearth rug
and pretty pair of Witney blankets.
I bought these cute vintage boat buttons and piece of pretty faded floral fabric.
I can never resist vintage kitchenalia
or pastel utility ware. I especially like the yellow Jasmine Ware and didn't have any blue Iris cups so snapped these up.The candy striped pillowcases are lovely and soft and I always buy them when I see them.
I bought a bundle of old dolly pegs and an unused vintage linen glass cloth.
These plant holders are actually a lovely faded green although you can't tell from the photo. They have a worn old wooden handle for carrying. I can imagine them holding primulas or hyacinths.
This cheerful trio made me smile.
I couldn't resist this battered old watering can with brass rose. This will replace the even more battered one we have in the garden.
I am really pleased with all my purchases, and enjoyed having a proper look at them today. It will be great to actually get out in the garden and need to use the watering can !
More photos can be found over on the fair blog.

I would've also bought all those things...and not been too struck on the colour of the wool holder either!
